MCW FOOTY TIPPING - ROUND 10

What a hard week for all of our tippers. Only one person THE SWAMPDONKEY managed to tip 6 correct winners. The rest of us only managed to tip about 3 this week so 6 is a massive effort! Well Done.

The OVERALL LEADERBOARD has only 2 people in the top spot MCW’s EMILY CAMPBELL and TIPSY. I don’t think we have had any closer contests in the past years. There’s only a few points in between 1st and 50th place– it’s still really anyone’s game! And just in case anyone wanted to know, our staff are ineligible to win the $1000 top prize! Sorry Emily!

The state of origin teams have been announced and in the QLD side there’s not really any surprises other than maybe the choice to go with Gillett over Barber. The NSW selectors have made 9 changes to their 2011 team and have even selected a player who was punted to the NSW Cup in order to stop QLD having their 7th win on the trot. Let’s see if the shake up can do the blues good otherwise I’m sure there will be a whole new NSW team for game two.

Good luck to everybody with your tips for round 11 and go the Maroons!!!!!!!

Legal Low-Down

Did you know...?

If as a result of a motor vehicle accident you sustain psychological symptoms (but no physical injuries) you are still entitled to compensation through an insurance scheme .

That can arise, for example, if you develop a driving phobia after being in a car accident or it could be from developing depression (or some other condition) after learning of the loss of a loved one in a fatal accident. Or perhaps you observed a tragic accident and have since suffered post-traumatic stress because of the severity of the accident or the consequences.

These types of claims are called nervous shock claims.

Please feel free to contact one of our expert Injury Compensation Lawyers on1300 855 103 or for a FREE consultation Click Here and submit an on-line enquiry to learn about the possibility of bringing such a claim if you or your family have developed a psychological condition after being involved in, learning of or observing an accident.
